DOLPHINS TALKING TO TY LAW

The Miami Dolphins are talking to the representatives for Ty Law and could bring him in for a workout, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. Dolphins VP of Football Operations Bill Parcells was head coach of the Patriots in 1995 and 1996, Law’s first two seasons in the NFL. The Dolphins were already shaky at cornerback, and starter Andre’ Goodman missed practice today with what coach Tony Sparano called “a personal emergency.” Sparano did say he expects Goodman to be back for Sunday’s game against the Ravens. The 34-year-old Law started all 32 games the last two years for the Chiefs, but he hasn’t found a new NFL home since the Chiefs released him after the season. There were reports that he was considering offers from both the Patriots and the Jets, but nothing materialized in either place. Perhaps his third time talking to an AFC East team will be the charm.
