WINSLOW BACK AT PRACTICE

The Browns had Kellen Winslow back at practice today but there’s still no confirmation on what caused his hospitalization and absence from the team. “It’s good to be back,” Winslow said to reporters upon his return to work. He said that it was the team’s decision not to go public with his ailment and that he agreed with that course of action. Winslow did say it wasn’t an infection but didn’t rule out any swelling on either side of the border. He hopes to play against the Redskins on Sunday but the decision will be made by the coaches after evaluating his practice session. Steve Heiden, who five catches for 59 yards on Monday night, would take his place in the lineup if they determine he’s not ready to return. UPDATE: Technically, Winslow was asked whether he could confirm that he had an infection, and he said, “No.”
