BAD NIGHT FOR BAILEY BROTHERS

Monday night’s game between the Broncos and the Patriots made a weak Denver team even weaker.
According to CBS 4 in Denver, cornerback Champ Bailey has been lost for four-to-six weeks with a torn groin muscle.
His brother, linebacker Boss Bailey, didn’t fare as well.  Boss is done for the year with a knee injury.
He’ll reportedly undergo microfracture surgery, a procedure aimed at creating scar tissue that simulates cartilage growth.  Which is typically used only when there’s no cartilage remaining in one of the spaces where the bones in the knee would otherwise rub together.
The loss of the Baileys comes at a horrible time.  After a 3-0 start, the Broncos have lost three of four.
The only good news is that the Chargers, at 3-4, don’t seem to be all that interested in rising up and taking the AFC West lead.
Holy crap, could there be hope for the Raiders?  At 2-4, they’re the only team from the division that won during Week Seven.  And they’re only one game back in the loss column.

Raiders? Weren’t they elimated from the playoffs in week one? Well considering that I have no fondness for the Broncos or the Chargers I’ll be rooting for the Raiders… or the Chiefs.
How’s that Charger bandwagon holding up?

The Donkeys always start well and then fall apart, season after season and game after game.
This time Shanarat will use injuries as an excuse but there’s always an excuse.
    Go Raiders!

    bofarr,
I have the same gift as you, just dont need the bong. All I had to do was watch a bit of the games. I say they dont let any AFC West teams have a playoff spot and just give it to the Bengals… for shits and giggles

Raider fan is hilarious. The worst organization in recent NFL history (2nd only to the Lions) and they still have a fanbase. Amazing.

  16. bwnyc says: Oct 22, 2008 10:08 AM

Too bad the Raiders can’t play the Jets every week.

Gfunk calls the fanbase “hilarious”. An objective observer would call us loyal. No band-waggoneers in the Raider Nation.
The run game is already one of the most effective in the league, and JaMarcus is getting more comfortable. The Raiders are gaining confidence and elevating their play while the rest of the division under-achieves and makes excuses. Like it or not people, this team has some legitimate young talent and they are beginning to show signs of coming together.

You all are retarded. Please do something else with your life, football needs smarter people than all of you.
