Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck said this morning that he has not been cleared to play and is likely to miss his fourth consecutive game on Sunday.
Hasselbeck, who has not played since the Seahawks’ Week 5 loss to the New York Giants, has a leg problem that is caused by a bulging disk in his back. But he told KIRO Radio today that he does not need surgery.
Hasselbeck said that he went to Los Angeles for tests on his back, and the doctor told him he failed the tests, which included walking on his heels. He does not have pain in his back, but he does have what he calls a a “dead leg” feeling.
Seneca Wallace is expected to start again on Sunday against the Eagles. Wallace had a big game Sunday against the 49ers, completing 15 of 25 passes for 222 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions.

they cant do better than 8-8. with or without him.
As an Eagles fan, I think Matt should just take it easy and recover fully.
Their season was f’d from the start…Feel bad for Holmgren having to go out like that….
