FINS FIRE HAGAN

The Miami Dolphins have cut the cord on third-year wideout Derek Hagan, a third-round pick in the 2006 draft. Hagan had become a forgotten man at the receiver position, deactivated for four of the last five games. In the four games in which he played, Hagan caught not a single pass in three of them. Hagan fell behind Greg Camarillo in the days before the regular-season opener. For his career in Miami, Hagan caught 53 passes for 645 yards and three touchdowns.
