IT’S TIME FOR SOME PFT ON PFP

It’s Friday, and that means it’s time to tune in to FSN’s Pro Football Preview. The show airs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on all FSN regional networks. In most markets, the show will be broadcast at 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. local time. And, as usual, there’s a cameo appearance from yours truly. This time around, hosts Jay Glazer, Shawne Merriman, and Eddie George talk about the NFL’s version of “Rivalry Week.” Eddie George explains that, when he was with the Titans, coach Jeff Fisher strapped him to a blood pressure cuff in front of the rest of the team and read to him an article about the Ravens. George’s blood pressure climbed throughout the exercise. Fisher’s point -- in these emotional games, players need to try to keep their feelings under control. Easier said than done.
