COLTS-STEELERS ONE-LINERS

Colts QB Peyton Manning threw for 240 yards and three touchdowns against a Steelers pass defense that ranked first in the league coming into the game. Said Manning of some of his passes bouncing off Steelers’ players hands, “They’ve been going the other way, so it was nice to have a couple of them bounce our way.’' Pittsburgh lost to a Manning-led team at home for the second time in three weeks. Said Colts RB Dominic Rhodes, “You really find out the character of guys in games like these.” The Steelers held Colts RB Joseph Addai to 34 yards on 12 carries. Said Colts CB Keiwan Ratliff, “I’m living out my dream. Honestly, it’s still like Christmas.” Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger made some big mistakes but wouldn’t blame them on his ailing shoulder. The Steelers no longer have a safe lead in the AFC North. Said Colts coach Tony Dungy, “We’ve got a chance now to get on a streak.” The Colts’ run defense is looking good.
