RAIDERS-DOLPHINS ONE-LINERS

Dolphins QB Chad Pennington’s helmet radio stopped working during the winning drive, emitting a shriek in place of the dulcet tones of offensive coordinator Dan Henning. Said Dolphins K Rob Dan Carpenter of his first game-winning kick, “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous...But once I line it up and step it off, it’s all business.’' The Raiders have now gone 13 quarters without scoring an offensive touchdown. Dolphins WR Ted Ginn Jr. ran for a touchdown, caught four balls for 51 yards and converted a fouth down on the final drive. A 93-yard punt return by KR Johnnie Lee Higgins accounted for the only Raider touchdown. Said Higgins, “I just saw a little bit of gibberish, then took two steps and it parted like the Red Sea.” Raiders WR Ronald Curry returned from a two-week benching to lead the team with 73 receiving yards. Dolphin LB Joey Porter and DE Vonnie Holliday each had one and a half sacks. The Dolphins won’t be having a “Victory Monday” after struggling to put the Raiders away. Raiders T Kwame Harris was benched after two false starts, giving him nine on the season.
