RAMS-NINERS ONE-LINERS

Niners interim coach Mike Singletary was “very excited” and “pretty happy” after his first win. CBs Walt Harris and Nate Clements each had an interception, matching their totals from the first nine games. The San Francisco offensive line, which has been awful this season, didn’t give up a sack until garbage time. Shaun Hill had a perfect QB rating of 158.3 at halftime after throwing for 192 yards and two touchdowns. TE Vernon Davis had another interesting day, catching a touchdown pass and getting into a sideline shouting match with RB DeShaun Foster. The Rams have been outscored by 72 points in the first half over the last two weeks. “We practice a whole lot better than we’ve played in the first half,” Rams DE Leonard Little said. LT Orlando Pace could be out for a month after injuring his knee. Ex-Rams great Isaac Bruce said it was “strange” to play against St. Louis. A columnist says Jim Haslett shouldn’t be considered a candidate for the Rams’ coaching vacancy he’s currently filling on an interim basis.
