Last month, the Miami Dolphins suspended defensive tackle Paul Soliai for the game against the Baltimore Ravens, citing a violation of team rules.
Apparently Soliai didn’t learn his lesson.
Today the Dolphins suspended Soliai again, also for a violation of team rules. The team has not said, specifically, which rules he broke, but he will not play Sunday for the Dolphins against the St. Louis Rams.
Soliai is a 355-pounder who backs up nose tackle Jason Ferguson and has played in every game this season except the one against the Ravens.

He is mentally retarded apparently. How does this happen? Ferguson goes out for a play and its 8 yards up the middle with out him. Get some sense.
Did he refuse to come out of a game when the coach told him to? That would be a sure-fire suspension…oh, wait a minute….
last time he was suspended Ferguson got hurt and the ravens tore us apart on the ground. lets hope that doesn’t happen again
Geeze – whatever he did must have been bad. Coach Sparano has already established that refusing a Coach’s order in the middle of a game will result in the need to issue a half-hearted apology to the team.
With a tight ship like that, whatever Soliai did must have been downright treasonous… unless Sparano is trying to FURTHER undermine his own authority by establishing two sets of rules – one for the prima donnas who enjoy trash talking about other players wives and children, and one for all the other players on the team.
In spite of an improved record, these stupid coaching moves make me wonder if Sparano is planning on “pulling a Saban.”
…he broke, but he will not play Sunday for the Dolphins against the St. Louis Rams.

complete the sentence.
Soliai is a 355-pounder fat ass who backs up…septic tanks with regularity (toxic waste) after mass consuming tonnage of food.
In the language of Joe the Plumber, he’s full of shit.
ha ha
Moron. Apparently he doesn’t understand that if, and when, he gets cut his disobedient ass will not find another team’s bench to sit upon.
Joe: It is heresy to compare anyone with Satan. It’s ugly and rude and libelous. I think Sparano may be able to sue you for saying such things.
Peezy wants to play. Apparently Soliai doesn’t. That’s the difference. Peezy may be an ass but he ahs heart. As long as the team understands who holds the power (and don’t think for one minute they don’t with the Tuna hanging around) there won’t be mixed messages and there isn’t a double standard. We, the public don’t know squat about this. If Sparano says it’s square and the players play for him, there isn’t a problem. Sunday against the Rams will tell us which it is.
Soliai was drafted only because Scam Scameron loved Samoan players
Soliai’s biggest mistake was not violating a team rule on camera on national TV. If he did that, all he would have had to do is apologize to the team.
Soliai hasn’t displayed the talent or heart in practice and games to warrant a “pass” like porter got last week. Everyone citing the Porter incident isn’t taking into account what he brings to the table. Soliai doesn’t bring any of that to the table, with a worse attitude.
here, the double-standard is completely permissible in my eyes.
