THE PFT-CFT WRITER SEARCH MOVES AHEAD

We've already received a pile of e-mails in response to our call for potential writers for PFT and CFT.

But as Taco Bill points out, we've already had to turn one of the applicants away.

We've got the photographic evidence of the moment he found out that we didn't have a spot for him.

Emmit Smiff would provide pure comedy gold, as he does every time he opens his mouf.

Florio, if he wants to audition for the job, you should let him. You don't judge a book by its spine.

" Wake up and smell the roses" The guy would be pure gold for you guys. Times are tough and he may need employment. Sometimes people need a break when caught between " a rock and a hard stone "

    Funny stuff.

But, this just confirms what Boomer Esiason said a while ago about Florio and the site - he comes out with great stuff but he seems to be a little mean-spirited and tends to have it out for guys.

Unless Emmitt did something to you, Florio, stick to pointing out when he makes a mistake on-air, rather than create more opportunities to use him as a punch line.
