With linebacker Clark Haggans on injured reserve, the Cardinals have beefed up their defense by signing free-agent linebacker Victor Hobson.
Hobson signed a two-year deal, which is essentially a one-game and one-year deal.
To create a space for Hobson, the Cardinals cut tight end Jerame Tuman.

Actually, the Cards get a nice little discount on this one. They actually get two games from Hobson and only have to pay for two… doesn’t the league mandate the amount and basically pay the players for all postseason games?
It’s NOT a Tuman!
If Wiz is still looking for ex-Steelers, I think Cedric Wilson is still available
I wouldn’t exactly call this “beefing up” unless you mean add a good guy to the roster. They have not added a good football player to the roster by any means. He is awful… unless he’ll be playing special teams. Consider this a tryout for the UFL.
Actually its a one gmae tryout and a guaranteed spot at training camp. Only if he makes the final cut and is on the roster on opening day will that contract be any good.
