REPORT: GRUDEN TO JETS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN

As we pointed out Friday night, in the wake of Jon Gruden being fired, his sudden availability is extremely unlikely to trigger interest from the New York Jets for their head-coaching vacancy.
A league source told Newsday that the Jets will continue to maintain focus on assistant coaches in their search to replace Eric Mangini.
“They made it pretty clear from the start they were going the coordinator route,” the source told Erik Boland of Newsday Friday night after Gruden was jettisoned from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, adding that going after Gruden would represent a “surprising change of course,” before inserting this caveat:  “You learn to never say never in this business.”
According to the article, the Jets haven’t been in contact with Gruden’s agent, Bob Lamonte.
Meanwhile, the update reiterates that Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Rex Ryan remains the frontrunner to ultimately get the job as he ranks ahead of Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer and Arizona Cardinals assistant head coach Russ Grimm.
Based on everything we’ve heard about Ryan’s five-hour interview last Sunday with Jets owner Woody Johnson and General Manager Mike Tannenbaum in Baltimore, don’t be surprised if the son of former NFL coach Buddy Ryan receives an offer to become the Jets’ new head coach as soon as the Ravens’ season is over.
Of course, under NFL rules, that prospective move would have to be delayed until after the Super Bowl if the Ravens beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship game Sunday night at Heinz Field.

As an embarrassed Life long Cowboys fan, please take Garrett. (And TO. We’ll give him to you for a first and a third. Or just the third. Wait, we’ll give you him and our third.) Garretts a good guy. Just did not have the balls to put TO in his place. Then stick his ass on the bench if he does not like being talked to like an employee vs a messiah. CUT EM ALL. Let GOD sort em out!

Gruden would’ve been one of the few willing to put up with Favre.

Chucky is more than over rated…………. it takes
