Newly-minted St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo is expected to tab Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach Pat Shurmur and Carolina Panthers linebackers coach Ken Flajole as his respective offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator this week, league sources told Scout.com’s Adam Caplan. According to the article, Eagles sources were complimentary of Shurmur’s work with Donovan McNabb, A.J. Feeley, and Jeff Garcia. Shurmur has coached the Eagles’ quarterbacks since 2002. He was rumored to be a candidate for the Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator post that went to a more experienced Cam Cameron a year ago. Flajole, who has prior stints with the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers, has been credited with linebacker Jon Beason’s impressive development. Before going to the NFL, Flajole coached in the college ranks for 21 years.
