LEBEAU TELLS STEELERS HE'S NOT RETIRING

In response to rumors that Super Bowl XLIII will be defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau’s final game of an illustrious NFL career, LeBeau told the Steelers on Wednesday that he’ll be back in 2009.
“I would never make any kind of decision without the guys in that room, like my son, knowing first,” LeBeau said, according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “The way they’re playing, they’re going to have to run me out of here.”
“He said, ‘I’m going to get this out of the way. I will be back next year,'” cornerback Deshea Townsend said regarding LeBeau’s announcement to the team.
We admire LeBeau for not playing the retirement-unretirement game in order to get the most out of his defense as the Steelers try to win their second Super Bowl in four years.
Then again, if they lose on Sunday, we might have to reconsider that position.
