Oh please, Florida was going to crush them this season anyway. Does anyone else get the feeling that Florida is trying to hide something? Obviously they want to protect their coach, but such a defensive and strong response suggests to me that they don’t want Kiffin sniffing around their recruiting anymore.

Urban Meyers seems to be a sensity guy. According to the article, Kiffin didn’t say Meyers violation any rules.
The word “cheat” is open to interpretation.

The best part about his decision to try a 70 yard FG was that he had a timeout in his pocket AND DIDN’T USE IT, until he drained the clock.
There was roughly 30 seconds on the clock after a pass completion and he actually ran the clock down, THEN called the timeout.
The week before, the Bills went deep into Raider territory and drained the clock before kicking the winning FG.
The only problem?
Lame went home with 2 timeouts in his pocket.
Everybody is so quick to dump on Al Davis but really, this guy HAD to go.

Why is this funny? Oh yeah! I remember! It’s funny because Lane was a poor, innocent victim when Al fired him, and he was really just trampled under the wheels of the evil emperor for no apparent reason, and BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.
Face facts – he got booted for a reason, and it wasn’t because he wouldn’t run Al’s plays. It was because he was a s**t-talking little bitch who needs to grow up and stop acting like a damn baby.
Best move Al Davis made last year, hands down.
And everyone keeps ragging on the coaching changes over the last several years, but the fact remains that there are a lot of teams in the NFL that bail water after a coach does bad. We just seem to have run into a string of worthless coaches after Chucky.

If that’s true then wouldn’t Steve Spurrier be in violation as well for what he said about Kiffin when he first got there?

Oh please…Urban myer is a jerk. Kiffin is not going to take it like Fulmer did. For years, Spurrier always took potshots at Fulmer and he never reacted. There is a new sheriff in Knoxville and he has a star studded coaching staff. I like it that our new coach won’t stand for it. Now why would he be longing for Oakland?

Didn’t look like the Vols did that well on signing day either. I have nothing against Kiffin, but the way to go in the SEC is to shut up and do your talking on the field.
And nothing can change the fact that Al Davis is the problem in Oakland. 5 head coaches in 7 years. Enough said. As long as he lives the Raiders will never again surpass 6 or 7 wins in a season and players will continue avoiding that place like the plague.
