Our own John Taylor of sister site CollegeFootballTalk reports via his gig with The Orange & Brown Report that the Cleveland Browns have hired a running backs coach from the college ranks.
In reporting the news at CFT, Taylor follows the appropriate rules of blog etiquette, even though in so doing he links to himself.
Hopefully, his mother didn’t catch him.

Any truth to the old wise tale that if you link to yourself you’ll go blind?
Why is this story on CFT????? You are “reporting” on a CLEVELAND BROWNS HIRE. Even though I read EVERY single story you post about the Brownies, I’m still commited to my CFT boycott until you stop whoring CFT five times a day… its gotten to beyond annoying.
Why no mention to Pepsi or Lucky Charms in this post??
If a “pro” football team hires an assistant coach, it belongs on the “pro” football website. Hence Profootballtalk.com. It isn’t even debatable.
Forcing us to jump to another site to get what is clearly “pro” football news is a sell-out.
when are they going to hire a HEAD coach?
yah this is obnoxious. just post the damn name.
when will they hire their way to the playoffs, or at least past the Bungles
What in the hell is “blog etiquette?”
Is it anything like “jumbo shrimp?” How about “old news?”
Or that old favorite, “terrible towel?”
Always intimidating…
Damn you, florio..why can’t u just say it ln pft? I’ll click on cft when I want college news
Agree with everyone above, this is ridiculous. Pro football news belongs here.
Pretty well covered here. I don’t mind hitting links when you pimp college news onto CFT. But if it’s NFL related, post it. I refuse to link to it…
