Texans strong safety C.C. Brown will visit with the Giants on Tuesday, according to Alex Marves of FOXSports.com. Brown was a sixth-round pick in 2005, and he started 13 games as a rookie. He continued to be a full-time starter until fracturing a forearm in the third game of the 2008 season. The Giants currently have only three safeties on the roster -- Kenny Phillips, Michael Johnson, and Steve Cargile. But the team’s online depth chart currently lists no one at strong safety James Butler, a 14-game starter in 2008, is a free-agent. He recently visited the Browns. Backup Sammy Knight was cut last month.
