GRADY MAKES SLIP ABOUT LIONS “NEW COLORS”

Recently-signed defensive tackle Grady Jackson is still getting settled in as a member of the Detroit Lions. As part of his new gig, he’s doing some radio spots. But it would be wise for the team to give him a head’s up about what he should and shouldn’t say. On Monday, Jackson blurted out that he likes the team’s “new colors.” (In Grady’s defense, he was probably distracted by thoughts of food.) Per Tom Kowalski of Mlive.com, a Lions official declined on Tuesday morning to talk about possible uniform changes. Kowalski says that it “appears unlikely” that the team will change its colors. Kowalski also points out that the team has slashed prices of its “current” jerseys. We just assumed it was a byproduct of going 0-16.
