Kansas City Chiefs cornerback David Macklin was arrested and charged with driving under the influence early this morning in Newport News, Va., Peter Jujardin of the Daily Press reports. According to a police report filed at the Newport News City Jail, Macklin was arrested at 3:13 a.m. Macklin attended high school in Newport News. A former Penn State standout, Macklin has previous stints with the Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals, Washington Redskins, and the St. Louis Rams. There was no immediate comment from the Chiefs regarding the arrest.
