SAINTS GET LECKEY

The New Orleans Saints have announced that free-agent center Nick Leckey has agreed to terms with the team. Leckey has spent five years in the NFL, starting with the Cardinals and then playing most recently in St. Louis. Last year, Leckey started the first ten games of the season at center. Leckey broke a bone in his foot and landed on injured reserve. He started 28 for the Cardinals from 2004 through 2006. The other centers on the roster are Jonathan Goodwin and Matt Lehr. UPDATE: A couple of you have accurately noted that Lehr is unsigned. But he nevertheless is listed as a member of the active roster.
