With multiple new safeties in the fold, including Darren Sharper and Pierson Prioleau, the Saints have parted ways with veteran safety Kevin Kaesviharn, according to Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Kaesviharn was due to receive $1.6 million in salary and bonuses this year. The eight-year veteran spent six seasons with the Bengals before signing with New Orleans in 2007. He started eleven games in 2008 before suffering a season-ending neck injury.
