T.O. Visits Buffalo

Bills receiver Terrell Owens has said that he won’t participate in voluntary offseason workouts in Buffalo.
But that won’t stop him from visiting the town that he’ll call home for the 2009 season (unless they cut him before it ends).
According to WIVB, Owens visited Buffalo on Friday before heading to Toronto for the weekend.
It’s believed that Owens might return to Buffalo and meet teammates who are spending time getting ready for the 2009 season, while Owens isn’t.

Owens will be just fine in Buffalo! Automatic 10 wins for this team with T.O.!

    Nice going, Bills management!

Another TO non-story! I got one!
    TO’s DUMP
TO took a crap this morning and it turn out the way that he’d hoped for. Apparently he had a huge wheat grass/protien shake in the morning and it made his stomach upset. After hours of agony, he hit the head and destroyed all of the work that his housekeeper did earlier that day! Sources from inside of the bowl said that he decided NOT to report the incident to the Buffalo Bills trainers.
    FLORIO LOOKS LIKE THE GRINCH!

Buffalo will be sorry they brought this attention grabber to town.

  6. DownWithTheClowne says: Mar 29, 2009 9:10 AM

    Please just retire T.O.
I am so sick of hearing every little detail of this arrogant, attention whore’s life.

It’s not really fair to say that Owens isn’t preparing for the 2009 season. The guy works out like a demon, and his conditioning has never been in question. He’s just not preparing with the rest of his team, which certainly raises questions about his level of commitment to the team, but not his level of preparation.

    Honestly Florio.
They are VOLUNTARY workouts. T.O. has never, ever been accused of not being in tip top shape.
There is PLENTY of time to get to know each other through mini camps, training camp and so on.
These VOLUNTARY workouts are for those players who have trouble motivating themselves to be in good shape. nothing more.
At TO’s mileage, it’s far better for him to be home and staying in his usual shape, while being more rested as well, then it is to lift weights next to the 3rd string TE.
There are many many other players who skip the workouts to do things on their own, but you don’t call them out constantly.
    get over it already.

  9. Sea Otter says: Mar 29, 2009 9:27 AM

Not to defend T.O. in particular, who is a fool, but as the NFLPA would quickly point out they are called “voluntary” workouts. I know that “voluntary” for young guys means that you better volunteer to be there if you want to make the team, but do you really blame established veterans from choosing to skip out on these sessions? I don’t. The season is plenty long as it is.

Sounds like T.O. Is spending the weekend house shopping in Toronto. That’s true commitment to Buffalo.

  11. BigMikey says: Mar 29, 2009 9:31 AM

    Thanks for stopping by, T.O.!
Have they voted him Team Captain yet?

Hey Mike… Tell me how T O’s ass taste

  14. tuffguy33 says: Mar 29, 2009 10:24 AM

When have we ever seen T.O. unready for the season physically? In fact he would be smart to take the time off and just lay on a couch. In a psychologist office!

  15. oldschool says: Mar 29, 2009 10:27 AM

Dick Jauron is a “Chucklehead” for signing this moron.

    BUFFALO = NFL’s Equivalent to SIBERIA…

  18. spanky07 says: Mar 29, 2009 10:43 AM

It’s way past time to quit talking about this turd like he’s royalty.

  19. tjcohen5 says: Mar 29, 2009 10:45 AM

The longer he stays away from the team the longer it will take him to implode their franchise. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bills management made that a condition for his signing.

  20. bigblue59 says: Mar 29, 2009 11:04 AM

What a guy 6.5 Mil and he stopped in for a hey how are you
    Damn what a deal
For that kind of cash I would be in the stands hand washing all the seats and still partake in the office season program

  21. SchlagerDog11 says: Mar 29, 2009 11:07 AM

Well that’s not one sided is it? People Luv to hate TO but really they just luv to luv him. You know you guys do. The bigger story is J. Jones being the strong minded guy that he is showing his weakness by being persueded by the morons in his organization and letting a powerhouse like TO go. Hope Dallas has a fun time rebuilding that train wreck

Well…..isnt that nice of His Majesty to grace us with His presence…………..JERK !!

Suck it, Florio. You’re running out of things to nitpick.
It’s almost comical how hard you’re riding this thing. His teammates are gonna be spending time getting ready for 2009…and he isn’t? How? Are they gonna lift more weights then he does in their ‘workouts’? Has he ever showed up out-of-shape?
I hope you write these same things about Jason Taylor, who will go to a new team, and miss their voluntary workouts. He just might avoid signing until they’re all done so that sensationalists don’t get the chance to talk about what a cancer he is by not ‘working out’ to get ready for 2009.

  24. sman55 says: Mar 29, 2009 12:00 PM

In case you missed it? T.O. ISNT the only Buffal Bill NOT in camp. WHAT about that JASON PETERS? He ISNT in camp either, dont hear a word from you about him and his desire to make over 12million a year. After seeing him last year and his 12 sacks he allowed I would be complaining MORE about someone like that than someone who DOES stay in shape and is making HALF of what this guy wants. HMMM can you list EVERY bill there? I bet there ARE more that ARE NOT there.

That’s quite a gift you’ve got, dog. Thanks for reminding us what what we’ve been thinking. I feel silly admitting this, but I don’t even recall luving to luv Terrell.

Jason Peters knows his teammates, he doesnt have a reputation as a locker room cancer. He doesnt have a ME ME ME attitude. T.O.DOES.

I believe Buffalo has the 2nd best NFL fans on the planet along with Pittsburgh, Boston, and Green Bay. Pretty cool.

    METRO Buff is 250,000
Ralph wilson stadium is nearly 80,000
Can you picture being a bandit in that city on Sundays?

Florio just knows that getting hits to his website makes him more money, so the more he talks about TO, and the more people respond to his drivel, the more money he makes. But he also does it because he just doesn’t like TO. I’m sure if he started talking about what a bastard-child leaving, illegal videotaping beneficiary Tom Brady was, he’d have more comments and more hits to his website. But he likes Tommy Boy.

I agree that Buffalo has some of the best fans in the world what other city would sell out every game last year after not making the playoffs for almost a decade? We have the #1 rated sports talk radio station in the country for a reason.
As for the city itself if Buffalo = Siberia like one poster says then how come so many ex football and hockey players still live here? Including Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas , Dominik Hasek and Scotty Bowman?
How come 90% of the people that have come here for the NCAA Basketball and Hockey Tournaments have had nothing but nice things to say about the city? Maybe people should visit a city before they talk sh@t about it?

  30. VOR says: Mar 29, 2009 2:54 PM

TO’s catching a Raptor’s game with Donte Whitner and James Hardy. You know, building team chemistry, especially with the guy who he allegedly pissed off by taking his number.

  31. SportzGoddess says: Mar 29, 2009 3:12 PM

Opinions are like a**holes…everyone has a Florio.
Was there not similar talk when Randy Moss went to New England? I mean, TO certainly has his share of antics on and off the field, but did he every really moon the opposing fans????
TO is TO and the Bills knew what they were in for when they signed him. Jauron and Ralph are both class acts and may very well be he chemo this so called ‘cancer’ needs.
Besides, maybe everyone should consider the possibility that this is more about Lee Evans than TO. After all, if TO doesnt get the ball, he becomes the TO everyone has come to expect. Meanwhile, Lee Evans puts up huge numbers and the Bills go to the playoffs.
The genius of this move is that it is a win/win situation for Buffalo. If TO defies expectations and shapes up, well the Bills could very well have the best WR combo in the NFL. If his presence merely opens up the playbook for Lee, he starts calling out his QB, coaches, ect, the Bills get their one season, very well go to the pplayoffs and TO is just TO and is beyond redemption. TO is the only one with something to lose.
Dont hate the player, Florio. Hate the game.

  32. jsbbubba says: Mar 29, 2009 11:24 PM

In a post last week, Florio posted something to the effect of…”jauron sold his soul to the devil by signing TO”. In this post, Florio completely misrepresents reality by saying “TO’s teammates are getting ready for the season, while TO isn’t.” Clearly he knows that few players are in as good of shape as Owens. I’d like to submit that Florio will totally misrepresent the truth in an attempt to drive traffic to the sight. Who $old out their $oul Mike?? “For the love of money, don’t let money change you!!” Too late!!
