I have officially reached a point of desperation for anything football. Never thought I’d see the day where I got kinda sorta excited to look at the pre season schedule. It’s quite sad. Or maybe I should try to be more productive here at work

Maybe this year the Lions will not try so hard to win the pre-season and save something for the regular season.

So why isnt the Hall of Fame game on 8-2-09 instead of 8-9-09 training camps start as early as 7-23-09??? That means the regular season games kick off on 9-10 thru 9-13 instead of 1 week before….The last preseason games SHOULD end on 8-27 thru 8-31….Florio please explain why the season is starting 1 week later this year…..

How can a team play Baltimore, Pittsburgh, New England, and Jacksonville for preseason and not come out with any injuries? Or get their offense settled? Thanks NFL.

This has been the norm for a few years. the NFL doesn’t want to open the season on Labor Day weekend.

The Skins could play the Detroit Lions 4-straight preseason games and not get their offense settled.

Ravens-Jets. Funny. BTW, is it a night game????
    AND…..
    more importantly……

cjpck44 Ha I was just just thinking the same thing. I actually wonder if the skins FO encouraged good defensive teams to challenge campbell and in the event he faulters let colt come out and work the magic.

Mike Hunt said, “Or maybe I should try to be more productive here at work”. Hey, at least you have a job 🙂
I guess it’s not too bad just reading this stuff all day, but
wish I was paid for it like you. Damn economy.

Hey Cards this is your chance to get revenge on the Steelers on August 13 lol …….. Since the game doesnt count maybe you have a chance to win this one . Since Ben wont play long . Although Dixon is going to kill ya lol .

Do the Giants have a deal with the Panthers and Patriots to play pre-season games? Ay, enough is enough, Ay.

  15. Gub Rock says: Mar 30, 2009 11:03 PM

Hey atleast my Vikings preseason season tickets are still full price. I was scared that they would drop in price. Is there such a thing as preseason beer? Hmmm…..I bet it would cost less than $7 a bottle.

This was a great letter to the fans that took a lot of stones to write. This proves the man cares about “team first” when too many owners have a quick fix mentality.
We could use an owner like Pat Bowlen here in Cleveland (even though we hate you).

Anybody else notice Chicago and Denver play in week 3. That should be fun.
