Travis Henry Cops A Plea On Drug Charges

Former NFL running back Travis Henry, whose child-support obligations have periodically landed him in legal trouble, has struck a deal in a much more troubling entanglement.
Per the Associated Press, Henry has worked out a plea agreement on federal drug charges.
A guilty plea will be entered on April 16.
Henry was charged with conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute, two counts of possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of cocaine.  The specific charge or charges to which he will plead guilty aren’t known.
Henry and codefendant James Mack were arrested after police nabbed another member of the conspiracy and flipped him.
Henry rushed for 6,086 yards in seven NFL seasons with the Bills, Titans, and Broncos.  His best year came in 2002 with the Bills; he rushed for 1,438 yards, with 13 touchdowns and five impregnations.

If only he could run like his boys can swim, he would have been a Hall of Famer.

Maybe it’s just me.., But I would think 5 impregnations would be my WORST year ever. But no one could argue his prowess in the RedZone.

“Nabbed”? “Flipped him”? What does all this legal mumbo jumbo mean?

I guess, luck for him, he didn’t “screw the pooch” literally that year!?

  9. TitanPride says: Apr 2, 2009 1:11 PM

Remember when the Titans let him walk to the Broncos and everyone sais we underestimated his value. All the women he knocked up overestimated his value.

now travis can back to his wimmens.

But I guess Travis did all that drug dealing
so he could feed his family.
    He has a big one…

Travis Henry’s 11 kids by 10 women is the new gold standard in modern professional sports. As for the plea deal, it will be interesting to see if Henry is compelled to testify against someone as a result (which always seems to me like something that tampers with the authenticity of the testimony).

  15. Slow Joe says: Apr 2, 2009 2:03 PM

    Haha!
You’d need a team of medical researchers working 24 hours a day for weeks to sort out all the nasty STDs Henry probably has.

  16. empty13 says: Apr 2, 2009 2:45 PM

must not have been able to find that 11th woman!
flipped means some other dumbass in legal trouble turned states’ evidence on henry. ratted on him in exchange for less of a sentence.
and travis will have to get used to a new kind of ” concubinin’ “.

I guess it’s better to have him copping a plea than copping a feel, which was kinda how he got into this predicament in the first place.
