Travis Henry Cops A Plea On Drug Charges

Former NFL running back Travis Henry, whose child-support obligations have periodically landed him in legal trouble, has struck a deal in a much more troubling entanglement. Per the Associated Press, Henry has worked out a plea agreement on federal drug charges. A guilty plea will be entered on April 16. Henry was charged with conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute, two counts of possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of cocaine. The specific charge or charges to which he will plead guilty aren’t known. Henry and codefendant James Mack were arrested after police nabbed another member of the conspiracy and flipped him. Henry rushed for 6,086 yards in seven NFL seasons with the Bills, Titans, and Broncos. His best year came in 2002 with the Bills; he rushed for 1,438 yards, with 13 touchdowns and five impregnations.
