Redskins Sign Mike Williams

Former Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Mike Williams was signed by the Washington Redskins today, the team announced.
According to the Dallas Morning News, the Texas native has been training with Redskins offensive lineman Derrick Dockery after being out of the game for the past few years.
Williams is a former first-round draft pick from the University of Texas who played for the Bills for four seasons, making 47 starts.
Williams, 29, was the fourth overall pick of the 2002 NFL Draft, but never lived up to high expectations.
Williams was demoted from the starting lineup in Buffalo and was released in 2005 before completing his rookie contract.
Williams signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2006, but wound up on injured reserve.
Meanwhile, the Redskins cut punter Dirk Johnson.
