It makes a lot of sense for Philly to sign him to a small deal. He can provide the immediate relief for Westbrook while McCoy learns the offense and he can also provide the third down short yardage help.

The Rod Hood move is a little surprising. He’s a pretty decent player… if the Eagles hadn’t traded for Hobbes, I’d be clamoring for them to bring him back.
If Sheldon Brown were to get moved, I’d definitely be a Hood advocate.
