Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Nick Greisen agreed to a one-year contract today with the Denver Broncos, according to a league source.
In seven NFL seasons, Greisen has recorded 255 career tackles and four sacks.
Greisen, 29, was released earlier this offseason by Baltimore one year into a three-year, $4 million contract that included a $1 million signing bonus.
The Ravens saved $716,000 against the salary cap by parting ways with Greisen.
A former New York Giants fifth round draft pick from Wisconsin, Greisen is known as a tough reserve linebacker who’s adept at special teams.

one sack.
don’t we all?
Nick Greisen’s still in the league?
I am not sure how good this acquisition will be, however it addresses an area of need.
So in my estimation it is a step in the right direction.
