Javon Walker's Secret Surgery

Earlier in the offseason, word surfaced that Raiders running back Darren McFadden underwent shoulder surgery on his own, without using the team’s doctors.
And he’s not the only player on the team who had surgery without the team’s involvement.
On Friday, coach Tom Cable disclosed that receiver Javon Walker had knee surgery last month, and that Walker first told the team about it just a few days ago.
Walker didn’t participate in practice on Friday.  The team currently is conducting a mandatory minicamp.
Cable also said that Walker’s ankle, which hampered him in 2008, has healed.
Walker was expected to be cut by the team in February, but he accepted a dramatically reduced financial package in order to stick around.

Unless he has some sort of Blue Iris “rejuvenation” in camp then he’s gotta

I don’t think any player has made more money and more headlines while producing so little on the field.
This guy has ONE good season, then held out, then injured himself, then had one pretty good season, and that’s IT.
I hope anyone that considers acquiring Braylon Edwards is paying attention.

Who cares? The raiders will sick until the day the crypt keeper kicks the bucket.

And to think all Al had to do was let this POS retire last year.
Walker waits until just before camp to have this surgery???? How about having it last November while he was spending Al’s money???????
What a frickin’ clown and a waste of life..

It’s none of our business what secret surgery Walker has. If he wants to be a woman so be it.

At least Walker was smart enough to take a pay cut. You know your career is over once you get cut by the Raiders. Walker did a good job to avoid retiring early

Ahh….so he can beg out of at least one game every month. Good plan on his part.

Playing in Oakland is like going to hospice… its for those terminally ill players who’s careers are just winding down, and want to get payed to do nothing… I feel bad for the draft picks actually, its like finding out you have leukemia when you are in high school…
