Sounds like a case of BWB to me.
Unless there is more that goes with story, it would be tough to believe that cops would arrest a guy based on some 59 year-old woman seeing him ride a bicycle by the house a week later. If that’s all it takes to put an arrest record in someone’s files and force them to cought up $10 k for bail money, then there’s something seriously wrong. No other corroborating witnesses? No evidence? Must be some details from this story missing.

This chick sounds like a loon. So I could have my wife call the cops and claim a dood was jacking it outside in my front yard and then pick out the next guy who rides by on a bike and the cops will arrest him? Based on the word of one chick with no other witnesses or evidence? That’s insane.

I bet it was someone else, or maybe she made it up ’cause she doesn’t like seeing him in her neighborhood. Or maybe he can only get off when he feels he’s doing something to put his career in jeopardy, so he rings people’s doorbells to alert them that he’s jacking off in front of their window.

that would suck if it was just a case of wrong place at the wrong time, cause if this woman just pointed at the first black guy with dreadlocks she saw, this is a thing that will follow McIntyre his whole career and maybe the rest of his life. I can’t wait for more facts to come out on this one.

Not to get too graphic here or anything, but isn't there a fairly easy way to establish whether or not McIntyre was the guilty party? There should be some . . . uh, DNA evidence at the scene, shouldn't there? I'm guessing that, for a high-profile case, the lab work would be fast-tracked to resolve this.

Boy, all jokes aside, something smells really fishy on this one.
Whether it’s racial profiling or just an old white lady accusing the first person the police bring to her, Florio, as a lawyer, you should at least give caution to a story like this.
Was this a real controlled “lineup” or just him sitting in the back of a police cruiser when she “accused” him?
Even though I laughed when I read this, I doubt the young man is laughing right now, especially if he is innocent.

I was born and raised in Port St Lucie. I am a white male republican and even I will tell you that the sheriff and police departments in area are notoriously racist and corrupt.
My own brother was wrongfully arrested years ago when there was a break-in near by, merely for the fact that he was driving down the street a few blocks away around the same time. All charges were dropped, but only after he got roughed up and driven to the police station, really for no reason at all.
Also, the guy who wrote this article – I will leave his name out so as not give him too much credit – is notorious for cherry picking stories from the police beat and adding in humorous details that really don’t belong – ie. “the moon was shining” —- probably out of cheer boredom and the fact that he lives in Port St. Lucie.
He does this so he can get attention and hopefully a better job. A few of his odd pieces, like a women calling the police because she got the wrong order at a McDonald’s, have been picked up nationally by Fark.com and other national news sites.

I know the people in Port St. Lucie are prudish but what’s the world coming to if you if it’s illegal to expose your sexual organs and masturbate outside of eldery women’s homes anymore?
This is really a question of McIntyre’s civil rights. Obama should pass a law and do something about these conservative laws.
