Former Bills and Redskins defensive end Bruce Smith, who was elected earlier this year for enshrinement to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, has been arrested in Virginia Beach for driving while intoxicated. He was charged Friday morning with speeding, driving under the influence, and refusal to take an alcohol breath test. Smith was arrested two prior times for DUI. In 1997, the charges were dismissed. In 2000, Smith was acquitted at trial.
