Jags Raid Jets’ Trash Can

The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced that they have been awarded cornerback Tyron Brackenridge on waivers from the Jets. Brackenridge spent 2007 and 2008 with the Chiefs, entering the league as an undrafted free agent. He was signed by the Jets on February 19, and waived on Tuesday. It’s unknown whether other teams made a waiver claim for Brackenridge. The Jags have a fairly high place in the priority line under the waivers process, given that they stunk last year.
