It is nice to see that players are realizing that a free-for-all spending spree is not the likely outcome of no cap/no floor year. If players that think this is a potential salary windfall, they need to look at the salary cap figures for teams right now. What makes them think they will spend all these extra millions of dollars in salary without a cap when many, if not most, of the teams are not even close to the salary cap as it stands right now. I think the players have way more to lose in an uncapped or no floor year than the owners do. They would be wise to work this out.

but we know teams like the cowboys, raiders, redskins, etc will spend out the wazoo in order to try and buy the lombardi trophy. and it might work. well, not for the raiders or the skins, but possibly the cowboys.
