The New England Patriots announced today that veteran fullback Patrick Pass has rejoined the team. Pass played for the Pats from 2000 through 2006, winning three Super Bowl rings. He spent less than a month with the Texans and then one week with the Giants in 2007, and he was out of football in 2008. Though the Patriots have a deep stable of tailbacks, Pass is the only player on the roster identified as a fullback. The Patriots also announced the release of four players: veteran defensive lineman Kenny Smith, first-year linebacker Angelo Craig, first-year running back Omar Cuff, and rookie safety Marcus McClinton.
