Cards Sign A Sixth-Rounder

More and more players continue to get new money from the Arizona Cardinals.
And none of them is named Anquan Boldin.
Today, the team announced that sixth-round outside linebacker Will Davis signed a three-year contract.
He is the fourth member of the draft class to agree to terms.
The Cardinals also cut punter Waylon Prather. (If you’ve heard of him and you aren’t related to him and/or you didn’t attend the college where he played, we probably should just give you the keys to this site.)

Waylon Prather (born February 16, 1985 in Felton, California) is an American football punter for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He was signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2008. He played college football at San José State.
Prather has also been a member of the New York Jets.
    I’ll take those keys now.

Waylon happens to be a friend of mine. He is from the same high school as buffalo bills starting rookie, Andy LeVitre, and former bronco and falcon Jordan Beck. Any idea why Waylon was let go in June?
