Sorry, unphair… I never bowed down and worshipped Favre. Go ahead and search the archives. Anyway, it’s not that he’s playing that bothers me. It’s that he can’t make up his mind once and for all, and it’s that he thinks he was wronged by the Packers. He created this whole situation himself.

Hypocrites. You critical Packer fans that now hate Brett Favre are the same fans that bowed down and worshiped him just two years ago. He could do no wrong. 13-3…remember? Why can’t you just LOVE football in general? If you were a FOOTBALL FAN and not just a HOMER, you might relish the idea of kicking his Viking ass twice this year. Or maybe he get’s his revenge. Either way, doesn’t it make things more interesting?
I’m not sure how I would feel if I were a Packer fan. BUT maybe have a little bit more faith in your team. They should have won the division last year….bad defense and even worse special teams decided that. Who cares if a confused hof player signs with a rival…if your team is up to task it should only make things more interesting.

I love how people think Farve will flop in MN because of his career interception totals.
He won’t be throwing many balls this season because of how the Vikings play football. They call mostly running plays. When he does throw, it will usually be into 8 man fronts because that is how teams play the Vikings. So there won’t be many players cutting under pass routes because most of them will be right near the line of scrimmage worried about the run game. And finally, Chilly is all about effiency and not throwing picks. Some of that is bound to rub off and the play calling will still be very conservative.
Gus Frerotte was successful at QB last season finishing with a 118 rating on the year. He is older and not as good as Brett Farve. Buckle up.
