Chiefs Make It Official With Mike Brown

One day after the news broke that former Chicago Bears safety Mike Brown had agreed to terms with the Kansas City Chiefs, the team is acknowledging the signing and made an official announcement today.
No financial terms were revealed, as per team policy.
A former Pro Bowl selection, Brown started 99 games for the Bears.  And the former Nebraska star piled up 629 career tackles and 17 interceptions.
Brown returned four of those picks for touchdowns, also returning three of his seven fumble recoveries for scores.
Brown holds the Bears’ team record with seven defensive touchdowns.
The former second-round draft pick also has totaled five career sacks, one blocked field goal, five forced fumbles, and nine tackles for losses.
However, durability could be a cause for concern with Brown.
He hasn’t played a full 16 games since 2003.  During that span, he missed 44 games due to various injuries.
