Giants To Sign Andre Brown

The New York Giants have struck a four-year deal with fourth-round running back Andre Brown, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.
We’ve been told by a league source that Brown received a signing bonus of roughly $433,000.
There’s a fourth-year escalator clause in the deal that’s higher than the low restricted tender of $1.3 million.
Per the source, the deal also includes reachable incentives of $130,000 each year.
Brown received base salaries of $310,000 in 2009, $395,000 in 2010, $480,000 in 2011 and $565,000 in 2012.
Adding up all of Brown’s contract figures, without the incentive clauses and the escalator in 2012, comes to $2.2 million.
Including that number and the incentive clauses and escalators could boost the total value to over $4 million.
The agreement in principle gives the Giants four remaining unsigned draft picks out of their nine-player rookie class.
That includes first-round wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, second-round linebacker Clint Sintim, second-round offensive tackle William Beaty, and third-round tight end Travis Beckum.
