The Jackonsville Jaguars finally have gotten one of their 2009 draft picks under contract.
The team announced this afternoon that tight end Zach Miller, a
sixth-round selection, has agreed to a deal. He is the first of nine
Jacksonville draft picks to strike a deal.
Terms were not disclosed.
Miller is a converted quarterback; he took snaps at Nebraska-Omaha.
We can understand why the Jaguars picked him, given how well their
last experiment with a college quarterback who switched positions worked
out.
