Ray Rice Has New Representation

Baltimore Ravens second-year running back Ray Rice has switched agents, according to a league source.

And we've confirmed through NFL Players Association records that Rice, a second-round draft pick last year from Rutgers, has hired Todd France to represent him.

France is also the agent for Rice's teammate, Pro Bowl fullback Le'Ron McClain.

Rice was previously represented by Sportsstars, Inc.

Rice signed a four-year, $2.805 million contract last year that included a $1.1 million signing bonus.  He's due to receive a $470,000 base salary this year.

Rice took the majority of the repetitions with the first-team offense this spring while former Pro Bowl runner Willis McGahee recuperated from arthroscopic knee surgery.

Rice gained some upper-body bulk during the Ravens' offseason conditioning program, and has drawn praise from the coaching staff.

As a rookie last year, Rice rushed for 454 yards on 107 carries for a 4.2 average. He also caught 33 passes for 273 yards.

Rice is Rutgers' all-time leader with 4,926 career rushing yards and 49 touchdown runs.
