Browns wideout Donte’ Stallworth is currently serving a 30-day jail sentence and faces an indefinite suspension from the NFL upon his release.

On Monday, more details were revealed about the morning he struck and killed Mario Reyes while driving drunk.

On a 911 call on March 14, Stallworth explains how Reyes “just ran in front of my car.”

He pleaded to the operator, “You got to send an ambulance right now, man.”

Police have previously said Reyes was running to catch a bus when he was hit. He was not in a crosswalk.

Stallworth, who has reached a settlement with Reyes’ family, faces two years of “controlled custody” when he is released from prison.

It’s still uncertain how the Browns will handle Stallworth’s suspension. He was reportedly paid $2.25 million of his roster bonus one day before the accident that ended Reyes’ life, and irrevocably changed Stallworth’s.
