Well, we’ve made it through nearly one full day at NBC without getting fired.
So if the over/under in your office pool was one and you took the under, you might be a redneck. Or a dumbass. Or both.
It was a very good day. We set an all-time PFT traffic record for July 1, more than doubling our prior high-water mark. And even as NBC began the process of promoting the site in ways it has never been promoted before, we continued our old-school promotional efforts, with a variety of radio spots including a visit with our new NBC colleague, Dan Patrick.
We also did an extended Live Blog, which as usual strayed from its stated purpose.
And, as always, we provided continuous updates regarding all relevant developments in the NFL, along with the stuff that otherwise caught our attention.
As to those of you who didn’t know about us before we joined forces today with NBC, we hope you’ll be back, often.
As to those of you who have been with us before we flipped the switch, we hope you like what you see, and that you’ll continue to believe that you’re getting your money’s worth.
If you ever conclude otherwise, we’ll send you a full refund.
