SportingNews.com: Sorting Out The Expectations, Possibilities For The New Coaches

But since the item has a shelf-life less like the milk Kramer vomited onto Susan Ross and more like a Drake's Coffee Cake, it's not too late to point it out.

In it, we look at the eleven new NFL coaches from the perspective of what it will take to be regarded as a success -- and whether they'll reach that perceived threshold.

Here it is.

Florio, I think you're wrong about Jim Caldwell's situation when you claim that if the Colts win, he won't get any credit for it. Caldwell is in the same situation Mike Tomlin was when he took the Steelers job, and Tomlin has gotten credit for winning despite the fact that he didn't build that roster.

If Tomlin can be hailed as a great coach for winning with someone else's team, then so can Jim Caldwell.
