PFTV Continues, Post-NBC Partnership

059.JPG
Some of you have asked whether we'll continue to shoot PFTV segments at the local CBS affiliate, given that we've recently become the black sheep of the NBC family.

The answer, as far as we currently know, is yes.

And some of you also have asked whether Joe Brocato will continue as the co-host.

Again, as far as we know, yes.

Unless, of course, Joe gets fired for taking the paint off the front bumper of the official WDTV Sports sedan.  (Maybe it happened like this.)

We'll be taping a new five-pack of PFTV segments later today, with a sixth segment to be shipped exclusively to Sprint's NFL Mobile Live.

And though we already have our topics mapped out, we're sufficiently flexible to consider any suggestions you might post in the comments.  (Translation:  We fear that some of our tentative topics will suck.)

How about a nice little Happy Birthday vignette to Al Davis and covering some of the good things he's done for the league to balance out all the Raider Haters out there who constantly bag on the man who helped for the sport we all supposedly love?

If nothing else ( and there is PLENTY of other stuff) Al has long been a suporter of equality in pro football, hiring an Hispanic head coach and black head coach before it was mandatory to even interview them and putting Amy Trask in a position to be arguably the most powerful women in pro sports.

Amy trask would be another fine topic to discuss Florio.

There's a couple of topic suggestions for you that dont scrape the paint off that crappy "sport sedan"

See reports on Goodell specifics all the time. I'd like to see a segment on where the League sees itself in next 10 years. Specific franchises may be consumed by recession but League may have longer view. London SB, USFL, LA franchise, supplements. player behavior, etc. - are there patterns that define the next ten years.

NBC should make you do PFTV with Tiki Barber.

How about bringing the rating system back so you know if your readers like any of the above suggestion!

We were actually hoping (not asking) that PFTV would go away.
