As a haze of confusion continues to permeate the circumstances surrounding the death of former NFL quarterback Steve McNair, a bizarre report has surfaced.
Per Ken Whitehouse of NashvillePost.com and the Nashville City Paper, McNair’s murder was preceded by a warning that he would be killed.
Citing unnamed sources, Whitehouse reports that McNair was at the Blue Moon Restaurant near the John C. Tune Airport. A white woman in her early 20s approached McNair, accused him of slipping her a “roofie” a year ago, and said that her boyfriend was going to kill him.
As Whitehouse points out, “roofie” is short for Rohpynol, a potent sedative often used in date rape.
Whitehouse writes that the information has been shared with the Metro Police Department. If the threat indeed was made, it might turn out to be nothing other than a morbid coincidence.
The 20-year old white woman is Sahel Kazemi, I don’t know how you can make it any more obvious. It isn’t just a “morbid coincidence”. McNair was one of my favorite players, but it’s clear he cheated on his wife with her and her boyfriend (whose name is Keith Norfleet according to the Tennessean) was the one who killed them at the condo.
It will come out with the DNA and especially if the gun was left behind(assuming a bf did it). No matter that he cheated,doesnt change my opinion of his professional football career or talent at all. No excuses for murder,ever.
The police said that the man that discovered the bodies had to unlock the door to enter the condo. That pretty much tells you that it was a murder suicide. I dont think a killer would take Steve’s keys and lock the door behind him when he left.

I do, however, believe this is a murder-suicide.
McNair was a great football player and it is a sad moment when we lose a great player. Whether it was as a result of cheating on his wife, no one deserves to have their life end this way. I wish the best for McNairs Family.
Yeah, it is kind of seeming like the boyfriend is a pretty convenient suspect, setting his ex-girlfriend up to look like the killer.

They don’t know the identity of the alleged woman…..you are suggesting it’s not possible for witnesses to think a 19 year old is in her “early 20s”.
The girl got the DUI early Thursday morning and Norfleet picked the car up from the side of the road and drove it back reportedly, so he had access to her keys in recent days if he wanted to duplicate the apartment key.

Steve is dead.
He is on a cold metal stainless steel table right now in the coroners office in a dingy building in Nashville.
Steve McNair… is on a metal table that is slanted downward so his body fluids, piss, blood, and undigested shit will flow toward the drain in the table.
His head (or at least the part of his head that is left.) is resting on that metal semi circle curvature to keep it above the table.
The rest of his head and brains are most likely in chunks and pieces clinging onto the clothes he was wearing at the time, like jello splattered on the floor of a child’s birthday party.

The pieces fit together a little too well for me in this case. Maybe i’ve seen too many of those murder documentaries, but it simply doesn’t make sense. he’s seemingly been spending time with this girl all week, and McNair had just bought her an Escalade. As a person from Nashville, she knew that he was married. McNair was an icon in Nashville larger than life. Non-football fans know who he is there and subsequently his personal story. She might be young, but women aren’t that stupid these days to go crazy like that because a man won’t leave his wife, especially assuming that she knew the deal from the start.
Unless some reports come forth of her being mentally unstable or something, I’m not sure this one is exactly what it seems like. I just hope the investigation doesn’t become an open and shut case. They need to explore all angles especially in light of these other allegations, which are coming out. There are ways to determine if she was truly the shooter, and the positions of the bodies need to be scrutinized as well.
I love how this story brings out the best in people.

Never claimed to be a detective. But a murder/suicide is easy to detect when looking at the crime scene. This one isn’t cut and dry. Something smells and it may be that boyfriend.
Hate to see anyone killed. But let’s honor this guy as a football player, not a good citizen, husband and parent. He was cheating on his wife and setting the woman’s digs up and wasn’t home for 2 days.
