In the wake of former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair’s death from multiple gunshot wounds at a downtown Nashville condominium, police have now confirmed the female victim’s identity.
According to the Tennessean, the woman’s name is Sahel Kazemi.
She’s the 20-year-old woman who was charged two days ago with DUI and refusal to take a Breathalyzer.
CNN has reported that the woman killed was McNair’s girlfriend.
Meanwhile, law enforcement officials have stated that McNair was shot multiple times, while Kazemi died of a single gunshot wound to the head.
A police spokesman said that the medical examiner will be performing autopsies Sunday.

It’s gotta be a murder suicide.
Wow man had to be. She gets a DUI a couple of days ago. He tells her it’s over and she shoots him. Seen way to many Forensic Files I guess. Hate to make rash statements like that, but what else could it be.

Don’t be so sure. Crime scenes like this get staged all the time. However, if the evidence does point to murder/suicide in the end, there’s no better example of why you always need to be careful of the women (or men if that applies) that you get involved with.
Let’s not jump to conclusions.
Women don’t typically do the type thing you describe and it’s hard to shoot yourself multiple times.
That’s what I would think too, especially with the last post stating that a gun was found near the woman’s body, but according to the police spokesman in this story (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/07/04/report-woman-shot-to-death-was-mcnairs-girlfriend/), they have ruled out murder-suicide.
Why would it HAVE to be a murder suicide?…just from the sound of it Steve went 1st with a fight…and than as the girl was in shock looking…took a single shot.

He was shot several times and she had one gun shot to the head. He was married and she was 16 years younger. He bought her a car that she just received a DUI driving. You think there was some conflict there? Dave & Busters girl and NFL QB? Maybe?
Um…she shot him and then killed herself. Guess he was another NFL player with a big head and a hard dick that cheated on his wife. He didn’t deserve it by any means…he just should have been more careful with who he screwed. Or maybe remained faithful.
A lot more will come out. RIP Steve…I thought (and still do) that you were great on the field and a hard working SOB. This sucks. Too young.
There’s also some other dude who rents the condo with McNair – probably has his name on all the pertinent paperwork to help hide this little love-nest.
Wow, that last current visible post was written with the actual sensitivity that Antonin Scalia shows when he writes a Supreme Court decision.
Scalia would not understand justice if a 300 mph equivalent brick wall hit him.
Saying that … something bad went down. The end is not the moral equivalent to the means which led to all of this, but it’s important to know the truth.
Based upon the direction of the investigation, the best guess seems to be that the woman shot and killed McNair — and then pulled the trigger on herself.
Of course, like others have mentioned, things can get staged.

Maybe the girl had a boyfriend of her own. Got jealous. Escalated. That kinda thing.
