Earlier today, the nephew of Sahel Kazemi said that police officers told him Kazemi recently had purchased a gun.
According to the Tennessean, that same gun was found under Kazemi's body on Saturday.
"We believe the pistol recovered from the apartment was purchased by Kazemi," Nashville Metro police spokesman Don Aaron said, per the Tennessean.
Still, police are stopping short of declaring the crime a murder-suicide.
But if the gun that Kazemi purchased was the weapon that fired four bullets in to McNair and one into Kazemi, the chances of proving double-murder theory would diminish.
Meanwhile, it's unclear where or how Kazemi obtained the gun. Federal law prohibits a licensed dealer from selling a handgun to anyone under the age of 21; Kazemi was only 20.

Well there ya go folks
What more do you need to know?
She's guilty as hell
Still could have been setup.
yup.
Creating a wider conspiracy etc (other than the discoverer just wanted to clean up a lil bit) helps the posse think they can keep everyone's mind off the fact mcnair was no role model and that his actions led directly to his death.

Inquiring Minds Want To Know!!!
While I always thought McNair was a class act......and still do, I can't help but wonder why his teammates, J. Fishcher etc. all comment about how great of a person he was and that his legacy will bore that out. While McNair did far more good (to our knowledge), isn't the fact that he was cheating on his wife and family and that he obviously had a problem with alcohol also a "part of his legacy"? Too often we are asked to ignore the negatives or to sweep them under the rug and only remember the "good" about a person. Whether it be McNair, Michael Jackson, the governor of S. Carolina etc......their shortcomings are a part of their legacy and perhaps by talking about those shortcomings (instead of hiding from them) it will show others that for every action their is a reaction....some good but some bad.
It wouldn't hurt to take a deeper look at this. I wouldn't rule the wife out until everything is gone over with a fine tooth comb. She could've had a hand in this as well..
I sure hope she didn't get it from the same person who gave her the Escalade. That would just be sickening.

Florio, on the street, there are things called throwaways.... I wouldn't expect you to know, but it's a gun, usually hot and usually has the numbers scratched off. It's called a throwaway because after you use it, you throw it away... You can buy one on any corner. And no, they don't ID you to make sure you're 21....
Why did she buy the gun that night?
Who did she buy the gun from and did this person question her as to why she was buying it?
How did she arrange for this purchase so quickly after her DUI arrest and subsequent bailout by McNair?
What time did this purchase occur?
Where was McNair when she was buying this gun?
Have the police questioned the seller of the gun?
Could this seller be an accomplice of hers? Or, the shooter?

I'm sure no one in his family is proud of the circumstances that led to his death. I hate it for his children most of all. All that said, whatever happened it does not undo the rest of his life- a life in which he did tremendous good as well. I don't believe you think Limbaugh is a worthless drug addict or hypocrite or Gingrich is now worthless for what he did. If you do, say it loud and proud like you are saying it for McNair. I might laugh at the birther silliness, but this was a man's life. A young man with young children.
The police can surely test for gun powder marks on Kazemi's body (hands) to see if she was the person most likely to have fired the gun (5 shots=more powder residue) used to kill both McNair and herself. Wouldn't that be compelling enough evidence for the police? What about any fingerprints on the gun? We haven't heard anything about this stuff yet from Nashville police
From the myriad of reports so far, sounds like Kazemi may have felt that McNair was going to leave her (or not leave his wife as he may have promised her so he could marry her instead) and she simply lost it that nighyt while high on drugs or drunk. This stuff happens all the time around the USA. It's the classic spurned lover murder-suicide case.
There was apparently no forced entry, the doors were locked and the murder weapon was left at the scene.
Looks clear to me but let's see what other evidence comes out.
Definitely a tragedy though for both families.
magoo, i dont care that much for rush or newt because i doubt their sincerity at times. i also dont think they always fight the right battles against the right foes. national level public democrats are often just fronting.
the case looks pretty "open and shut", or if you prefer, "bang bang".
one by one the more conspiratorial "possibilities" are actually falling by the wayside.
no one owes the dead anything but the truth. mcnair was no role model, especially since he let down those closest to him.
Mcnair's wife claims that she didn't know about this girl. I'm not buying it.
With pictures of this girl and McNair on TMZ and the web, how could she have not known.
