The Cincinnati Bengals have signed seventh-round fullback Fui Vakapuna to a four-year contract with a total value of $1.811 million, according to a league source.
Per our source, Vakapuna received a normal percentage raise over last year’s pick at his spot as the 215th overall pick.
Vakapuna also has an escalator clause in the fourth year of the deal.
The 6’0, 260-pounder from Brigham Young started eight games at fullback last season, rushing for 291 yards and three touchdowns on 54 carries.
Vakapuna has drawn favorable comparisons to former Bengals fullback Fahu Tahai.

Over under ten days before he becomes an official Bengal and resets the days without an arrest counter.
Wilson, good to see you.
@nosferatu
Do you REALLY think this guy, from BYU, no less, will be resetting the arrest counter?
********
Probably a Browns fan…………they don’t have a clue most of the time anyway.
I’m hoping he breaks Shaun Rogers legs Week 4 @ Cleveland. LOL
I don’t care where you come from after you check into the turd factory that is Cincinnati.
Nosferatu:
Your jokes are as dry as the dogshit brown jerseys that your Brownies rock. As bad as the Bengals may be sometimes, its always comforting to know that they still bitchslap the perennial doormats in Cleveland.
Truth hurts and for the record I am not nor will I ever be a Browns fan. I just love watching the Bengals run up the score in turd watch over the past couple seasons.
This guy is going to be a beast! He’s a hell of a runner too… great diversion for Benson on the goal line, not to mention Ben Utecht who didn’t even have a chance to shine last year in the Bengals pass-happy offense… Browns stink
