The last we heard of Travis Henry, a Florida woman was claiming that he owed child support for her twins, possibly completing a starting eleven of children.
It looks like he’ll be stuck on that number for a long while.
Only two short years after signing a big contract with the Broncos, Henry was in a Montana court Monday fighting for his future. His attorneys are arguing for a light sentence in his federal drug trafficking case because he was “duped” by his associates in the drug trade.
Henry pleaded guilty in April to trafficking at least eleven pounds of cocaine.
He was described by federal agents as “the money guy” in an operation to move drugs from Denver and Billings, Montana.
Henry’s attorneys claim their client was taken advantage of by his co-defendants while he was in “severe emotional and mental distress” after his football career ended.
Henry could face up to ten years or more in prison. Sentencing is set for July 15.
